Pfizer’s Blue Sky department were developing their vision of the future of a global health care service. Until working with Wailing Banshee, the team had been using a power point presentation with complex but linear graphical slides to explain their ideas.

They wanted to make their ideas more dynamic, exciting and attention grabbing. Initially we were briefed to create a 5 minute film about a single aspect of future health care. The success of that short film led to the development of a half feature length movie, the story concept, script, casting, filming, CGI, and editing all the way through to the graphic design on the DVDs and cases were completed in house by Wailing Banshee.

We met the client’s expectations by taking the brief and creatively developing it several stages further ahead than they had imagined. Rather than take a 2005 look at the future, we rooted the audience view point in the year 2015 and showed them a realistic scenario, with the technology Pfizer envisage being in use at that time in action.

We are currently developing this and adding to the filming and graphics work, creating a series of 5 minutes films explaining the individual concepts in more technical detail to be streamed on the internet “You Tube” style. We have produced five of these short films in the last 4 months, and all script writing is carried out internally with a high level of scientific content having to be translated into understandable and interesting content.
