We welcome clients input when it comes to video editing and therefore we like to invite you to sit in with our editor and director.
The original video tapes we have shot plus any photographic images & logos are converted to digital files. These files are all held on our central edit suite.
Music, voice over and sound effects are also stored within this media vault.
We begin an edit by placing our 'rushes' or film clips on the computer time line and then weeding out the parts we don't want. What we are left with is a selection of usable short sections, called sub clips.
These sub clips will be used for the basis of the programme and joined together either by staight cuts, dissolves or animated wipes and turns.
Our editing systems are some of the most powerful in the industry. We throw media at the edit suite and manipulate it in real time, no rendering and no costly waiting periods.
If you want to see an alterantive cut, swap media around, slow-motion a clip, change colour, reverse the film, brighten the image..... no problem, all in real time!
Once you are happy with the initial rough cut it may be a good idea to show the edit to your colleagues. Get a feel of what is good or bad abouthe first edit anc come back to us with a list, no problem. Because we work in this purely digital environment we can make changes to your film at any time without loss of quality. Changes are quick too makin changes very economcal.
